The BAT TAIL QUAD is designed and built to take soft surfboard performance to the next level! This 5'8" quad-fin is designed for max speed in powerful surf. It is the choice shred stick for driving through big tubes or laying down some solid turns and wafting some spray!

For beginners, larger soft top surfboards or longboards (typically 8–9 feet) are best, that is assuming an average size adult. For smaller individuals surfboards in the 7-8 feet range would be ideal.  The larger surfboards provide stability and make it easier to catch waves. Waterboyz offers a variety of new surfboards designed for all skill levels.

Yes. Soft top surfboards are lightweight, safe, and more forgiving during falls, making them ideal for learning the basics of surfing.

While many new surfboards include surfboard fins, there are good selection of the more high end performance shortboards that do not come with fins.  Leashes are usually purchased separately. Waterboyz also stocks surf accessories so you can complete your setup in one place.
