Dimensions : Length: 7'0" Width: 22" Thickness: 2 3/4" Volume: 45.4 The HydroCush 949 (Comp) surfboards are designed to maximize fun and performance. They feature a unique construction that combines a hard bottom with a user-friendly EVA foam deck, making them more durable and safer than traditional glassed or hard boards, while still offering excellent ride quality. Each HydroCush board is built to last and crafted with precision and attention to detail. The core is made of a shaped EPS blank, with a real wood stringer running from tip to tail for ideal flex and a wood veneer wrap for maximum strength and durability. The deck is finished with custom EVA, providing a soft and grippy feel that eliminates the need for wax. The HydroCush 949 (Comp) is a fast and loose mid-length board that rides like a shortboard. Its pulled-in nose and perfect rocker make duck-diving and dropping into steeper waves easy, while its deep vee concave bottom and beveled rails provide responsive and forgiving turns. The board is designed to be surfed with Futures Vector 2 Quad Scimitar fins and a center 3.25” trailer fin for solid bite and drive down the line. It is ideal for shortboarders looking for a fun and versatile mess-around board.
