A shaped EPS blank makes up the core of the Stewart HydroCush boards, hand-finished with precision and the highest attention to detail. Perfectly blended concaves and flawlessly foiled rails make these boards faster, looser, and more responsive than you ever thought a soft top could be. A real wood stringer from tip to tail provides the ideal flex and a wood veneer wrap maxes out strength and durability. Custom EVA on the deck gives it a surprisingly soft yet grippy feel. HydroCush is your magic carpet to fun — no need for messy wax. This unique construction will make your turns feel solid and stable, while the time-tested, tried and true Stewart shapes ensure responsiveness and unparalleled performance.

Bill has tapped into his wild side and created the Wild Bill, the ultimate high-performance mid-length soft-top. For intermediate to advanced surfers, this board is a perfect alternative to your shortboard for those days that you want a bit more paddle power but don’t want to sacrifice performance.

With the perfect rocker and long concaves, the Wild Bill paddles insane, allowing you to pick off that big set wave with ease. Deep double concaves in the tail make the board turn better than you ever thought possible for a soft-top. And the beveled rails allow for more foam where you need it while having a nice thin rail to carve into those turns.

For beginners, larger soft top surfboards or longboards (typically 8–9 feet) are best, that is assuming an average size adult. For smaller individuals surfboards in the 7-8 feet range would be ideal.  The larger surfboards provide stability and make it easier to catch waves. Waterboyz offers a variety of new surfboards designed for all skill levels.

Yes. Soft top surfboards are lightweight, safe, and more forgiving during falls, making them ideal for learning the basics of surfing.

While many new surfboards include surfboard fins, there are good selection of the more high end performance shortboards that do not come with fins.  Leashes are usually purchased separately. Waterboyz also stocks surf accessories so you can complete your setup in one place.
