The John John Florence Techflex thruster is John's daily driver and the fin that he rode exclusively to 3 World Championships. John’s approach in both waves of consequence and high-performance competition show the versatility of the Techflex construction. Stable and predictable at high speeds, as well as springy and responsive in more playful conditions.
John runs the Pro size fins in his 6'1" and 6'2" Pyzel Ghost models when the surf improves, head-high to double overhead. The slight reduction in size from the large fin allows for increased control and release during powerful turns, letting him push as hard as he wants when the waves are good.
