This is the preferred shape of World Champions Austin Keen and Blair Conklin as well as other elite Exile team riders.| | Construction| | The CX1 is the streamlined version of our wildly popular Double Carbon Fiber Epoxy construction, and has a price tag to go along with it. These boards still feature 2 layers of Carbon Fiber, Aerospace Grade Epoxy Resin, E-Glass and S-Glass Reinforcement and a PVC foam core. The key difference is that this construction is slightly heavier than our standard Double Carbon Fiber Epoxy skimboards. The thinner core does come at the cost of a little buoyancy.| | Rocker| | HYBRID ROCKER The Hybrid Rocker is what we put on 90% of the boards we produce, and is the most versatile skimboard rocker for skimming anything from the Gulf Coast of Florida to Cabo. It clocks in roughly at 2.25" in the nose and about .125" in the tail with a fairly good size flat spot in the middle of the board. This allows the board to transition from sand to water easily, be super fast, and turn on a dime. If you aren't sure, this would be our pick! | |Finish| | Our Matte Gloss Finish comes standard on The CX1. While not quite as shiny as the high gloss finish on the EX0 and EX1, it still provides easy traction application with no sanding necessary.
