WBZ Skate Camps 2025

SCHEDULE:  Camp is instructed Monday-Thursday from 9am-12noon. Each camper is welcome to stay and skate free after each day, and Friday is a free skate day for all campers. Reminder, there will not be instructors present at free-skate times and the skatepark will be open to the public.  SNACK: There will be a snack and water provided each day, but no lunch. EQUIPMENT: We can provide camp helmets, pads, and skateboards for those who don't have their own equipment. However, we recommend campers have their own board and protective equipment so that they can continue to practice on at home. PROPER FOOTWEAR: Close-Toed, Flat bottomed shoes (not running shoes!) to prevent injuries such as ankle rolls. Ex: Vans Old Skools are great skate shoes as they allow excellent, "board feel", which is the ability the feel the board beneath your feet. Running shoes with thick layers of foam are improper footwear for skating. DETAILS: Our instructors have years of experience skating and are among the best skaters in Pensacola. Instructors teach campers both in groups and one on one. There is a range of abilities in each session which really helps the kids to motivate each other. We minimize our capacity to 15 kids each week to provide a safe environement and more one on one time with each skater! Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt that we tie dye on Wednesday!
